I'm having issues getting my Axim x51v to sync after a hard reset. I did go through the partnership wizard and get it to sync once, but lately it won't work. Also, I doubt there is anything wrong with the cradle and cables because everything synced just fine up until the hard reset.

ActiveSync detects my device and its name shows up in the AS window, but then I get a popup with an error message that tells me to reconnect and try again. When I click OK, ActiveSync shows that I am connected as "Guest."

I've been through every setting I can find on my Axim and my computer, un/re-installed AS, run the useless AS troubleshooter, and nothing has helped yet. A friend told me unchecking "Enable advanced network functionality" under System/USB Connnections on the Axim might fix it, but no luck.

I'm out of ideas. Please help!
