Everything was working fine until a couple of weeks ago. Then Active Sync stopped working. The Axim doesn't sync and I can't even get the Active Sync application window to appear and nothing is down in the status bar either. I reinstalled active sync and went through the set up and then I could sync... until I rebooted. If I reinstall active sync (BTW, the repair function in the control panel gives me an error) then I can syn my axim to my PC.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Which version of AS are you using? 4.5 I assume.

And, which Axim do you have?

Definitely a strange problem.

I am using Ver. 4.5.5096 (of course I can't open activesync to check this unless I reinstall it yet again) and I have an x51v

That's the same version I have. I'm assuming your PC is XP? I also assume you've searched thru the AS forum here?

You might want to try the AS forums on the Microsoft WEB site. Maybe their techs can give you a solution. :exc:
