Help with Device manager and ATT Tilt

I just upgraded (?)to Vista and device manager and am going nuts afterusing AS for many years. It has so many issues I don't know where to start..
1. Device manager stops working
2. Syncs my device every 5 minutes while connected
3. Removed all of my contacts and tasks

Is there a good place to go to get answers for these issues. I have googled almost everything with no luck.

Thanks..got to that, but none of my issues are there. I just downloaded device mgr 6.1 that I was sure that I had already downloaded and installed, but my device manager said it was 6.0xxxxx. Maybe that will work. I am now going through the dreaded total resync....
