Recently i have not been able to sync my device via WMDC. Ever time i try to open it, i get a message that says "wmdc has stopped working. windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. and it just closes the program. i have tried repair it and uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing. i even checked the trouble shooting guide and it does not address this issue. does anyone have a solution.

You don't mention what device you have, however, sometimes this is caused by the network connections for some unknown reason.

Try start/settings/connections/usb to PC/
untick "enable advanced network functionality".

May not work, but it's one idea.

I have an Axim x51. The axim is fine the issue is with vista. when i try to open WMDC on my computer before even putting my device in the cradle,it doesnt open it gives me the response that i mentioned above .
