My wife has had her x51v for five years and never used it once so I am going to use it for my plowing business. So I hard reset it back to original settings and installed active sync on my windows xp pc. Just let me give you an idea what I have on my system.
1) Windows xp sp3
2) Zone alarm security suite
3) Active sync 4.5

OK so I have the axim hooked up with both the active sync on pc and the axim saying I am connected and syncing BUT I have been syncing for like 10 minutes should it take that long to sync?

It could take 10 minutes to sync, but then again, it could be hung up. does it look like anything is syncing at all?

You could try turning off your Zone Alarm software and see if that makes a difference.
