ActiveSync for pc-laptop

Hi

I use ActiveSync 4.5 to sync between Outlook on my desktop pc and my iPAQ 6915. Does anyone know if I can use the same software to sync between my desktop pc and my laptop?

Thanks

No ActiveSync is only designed to sync between pocket pcs and computers. Try Microsoft's sync toy:

Download details: SyncToy v1.4

Thanks, Julie. Do you know if this version of ActiveSync is compatible with Vista? I'm about to upgrade. Thanks

You won't use ActiveSync on a Vista machine. Instead you'll need to download and install Microsoft's Mobile Device Center:

Why not use the PDA as a bridge? Sunc with one then sync w/ the other. I do it w/ my Axim and it works fine (usually).
