Trouble with InBox
My Inbox reads "1 Unread" message. I cannot open the message, or access the messaging program from the start menu. Soft boot does nothing, after I do a hard boot, it works fine. Then I restore data and it quits working. I have tried deleting messages from the Windows folder, and I have tried all different settings in ActiveSync thinking that it would work itself out (Inbox is empty in Outlook). I think that it must be a bum message that has become hung in the Axim. I cannot get to the messaging software to make any changes.
I just installed ActiveSync 3.8, but I'm not sure if that caused the problem or if I had just not noticed it beforehand. Thanks very much for any help. | ||||

I had the same problem with ActiveSync 3.8.Even after a hard reset I could not get it working.I think its a problem between Active Sync and Outlook. I just installed 3.7.1 that came with my Axim and my Inbox worked well.

I tried reverting back to the previous version of ActiveSync... that did not work. I finally fixed the problem by doing a hard reset, backing up only the inbox after the reset (with nothing in it), restoring all data, and then restoring only the empty inbox. It now works fine with ActiveSyn 3.8.
