ActiveSync Why has it taken so long for this category?

Synhing problems

My computer at work is not synching properly with my Axim x50. I get the following error messages.

* Outlook has caused an error in MS09.dll

* Active sync cannot log on to MS Outlook make sure MS Outlook is installed and synchronising correctly

* Sync cannot be started because you are not able to log on to the network and access info.

My machine is running on Windows ME and I reinstalled Outlook 2000, but the problem still happens. Our network fella reckons its nothing to do with the network.

I'd really appreciate any ideas anyone might have.
