I just got back from a trade show and synced my x50v yesterday morning. Then I tried again a few hours later and Activesync won't connect. I just added a 1gb SD card. Could this be causing a problem?

Make sure the cradle is plugged in correctly: put the axim in the cradle and turn off the unit. Does the axim show that it is charging? This will at least let you know your USB connection is working, I believe...

It still charges if the USB is unplugged. The PC makes the boink noise when I seat my axim in the cradle, just not the tinkle noise to say it is connecting.

This happen to me I unistall off the computer and reinstall. I also install the update from Microsoft ActiveSync 3.8.earlier today.
You might want to hear other's opinion before you update but so far works for me.
