Unresolved Items Files - Even after all files deleted

I'm using MSAsync 3.8 and and just started receiveing an unresolved file error I cannot get rid of. Synchonization cannont be completed because a file cannot be synchronized with your mobile device....

I've attempted the following with no success:
- rebooting my pc
- soft reset of my Axim 50v
- turning off file Sync option
- reloading ActiveSync,

When none of the above worked, I deleted all synced files on my PDA with the only remaining directory being the "Templates" directory with nothing in it (only because I have not found a way to delete this directory). Even after a successful sync with no files I've continued to have "1 unresolved item" for the files information type.

When I add all of my files back, they appear to sync and convert properly. Besides a hardrest and starting over - any ideas?

What error do you get when you click "resolve items"?

I get the following message: "Synchronization cannot be completed because a file cannot be synchronized with your mobile device. Close all programs on your mobile device and this computer, and synchronize again." As I indicated in my initial question, I've done everything but a hard reset on the pda and have rebooted my pc several times.

I have the same problem with my X30H.

Seemed to start after the Rom upgrade to A05.

Being impatient, and seeing there was a ROM upgrade I proceeded with the ROM upgrade. I can say All went well with the new version and the unresolved file error is now gone.

I am having a problem syncing, but only with Outlook 2003. I can move files and can see all the files, but no luck with Outlook 2003. I'm using Norton IS also

Same Unresolved File Message--Ideas Anyone??

I'm getting the same thing. I have a new Axim X50v, got it Friday, after the battery was charged upgraded to A03 and ActiveSync 3.8. I've deleted folders, done soft resets, re-booted my computer (Windows XP), (didn't do the hard reset either). Still getting unresolved items. Even tried unintalling latest installation (Pocket Informant). Only other things I've installed are PocketPlus, PocketBreeze & ContactBreeze. The MAIN reason I got this was to be able to sync files before and after traveling. Anyone figure out a fix yet?

Mahalo!

If you haven't tried this :

in activesync, change settings Options->rules->to "always replace files on my device" then sync.

worth a go , works for me most times I get this error

Tried that too -- both ways, always replace files on my device, and always replace files on my desktop. Doesn't resolve anything. Anything else?

Sorry if this is obvious- but just to confirm: there are no open programs ? Maybe try soft-reset then place in cradle and sync ?
I'm running out of ideas .....

I soft-resetted numerous times. I gave up -- did the hard reset. (Not too bad, since I'm just beginning to get it set up and things installed). Now I'm just afraid of putting any documents in my folder and getting the same unresolved problem, but I NEED to be able to use those folders -- well, time will tell, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. PLLEEAASSEE be a good sycher now!

I also have the same problem after a hard reset and restore of my files (1 unresloved file). I've tried turning Wisbar off then sync but still no change and also the other items mentined like computer overwrites etc.
I do notice when I try to resolve files there is a pop up window appearing very quickly over my activesync box, It flashes on so quickly that I cannot see what it says

Any other help out there ?? How do you know which file is not resolving ??

I had this problem with attachements on e-mails. To stop it, I had to uncheck the box that limited the size of the attachement, once I did that, no more unresolved problems.
