backup
Hi!
My device ecnountered a soft reset after installing a program. I happily changed my device name back to the old, plugged it in and thought activesync will restore my backup. But this was gonna be my BAD Day. It wanted to set up a new partnership.. hmm fine i thought and entered the old partnership name. It said its already in use. ![]() So i chose a different name, copied the backup file and overwrote the "new" device backup file, went to activesync and clicked restore, it showed me "This file has been created on another device and cannot be restored to the current device". Now tell me, what the h*ell is that backup function for if we cant use it? Anyone else with the same problem? Or am i doint something wrong? Cherrs //M

Backing up with ActiveSync never seems to be satisfactory. I have never managed it successfully.
I strongly suggest that you invest in Sprite Backup. The multitde of advantages of this essential software have been well covered in several other threads, so I will not repeat them here.

I agree that sprite backup is worth the money you pay for it.
