Just got my X50v, have loaded the ActiveSync s/w but can not
get the laptop to detect the X50. I have tried updating to
the latest version 3.7 was sent downloaded 3.8. I have tried
not going through the USB hub, no help. Went through the MS
trouble shooting but can not get to the point where you turn
off and turn on the allow USB connection, click on this and
it just pops up the get connected wizard?

Any help appreciated, Frustrated,

I'll ask the dumb question.

Have you tried rebooting the laptop and soft resetting the Axim before trying again?

Yes tried all that and disabled the firewall and anti-virus S/W.
