I'm passing this on just in case someone else is experiencing a problem with Calendar/Contacts/Tasks not syncing.

The issue is that after Outlook installs it must be opened (ran) before Active Sync is installed. If you don't open it you won't be able to accept the legal agreement which is necessary for your PDA to have authorization to access Outlook during the syincing process. Dell missed this step on their CD. If you're having this problem look carefully at your Axim as it begins sincing, it will say unauthorized.

solution:

Step One: Install outlook
Two: Run Outlook and accept the agreement
Three: Install active sync
Etc.
