On Activesync, with Outlook Email, my sync comes up with "One unresolved item". THe green sync icon has a red exclamation point. I don't know what is unresolved, and how to get rid of this! Can anyone please help? I don't see anything on Help. Thanks so much! I don't have trouble getting my email messages, but just this comes up every time! CKH
P.S. I have my "options/rules" set to resolve or defer to pc.
Double click on the AS icon. In the AS window that opens make sure thate the details are visible (click the Details button if necessary) right click on what ever is marked unresolved, and click on Resolve. You will get more info about the error. The usefulness of the info depends on what item had issues syncing.

I think I know what item, it is an item in "inbox". But, I have no pending messages in the inbox. ???? Any more words of wisdom? BY the way, I have a 50, not a 5. THanks for your help!
Sorry, the OP is correct, this does not help. I have the same issue, just started two days ago, for no reason, but no clue to what is unresolved. I am however resolved to leave it unresolved for now.

"No pending messages"... does this mean that the InBox on your PC is empty?
Or that it is empty? I assume you mean unread. Going on that assumption...
I'd reverse sort the InBoxes on both your PPC and PC by date and see where they don't match. remove the ones that don't. Delete them (forward them to yourself first) or move them to another folder. See if that helps.

I have NO messages in the inbox, and it still says "Unresolved Item". I think I will just do like the other member says, and leave it unresolved. I have the options set to replace on my PC, as that is what I use most....Thanks.
I have had this problem in the past, though not recently. it usually invlolved a large file(s), either on the PPC or the PC. once i deleted or moved the file(s) so it wasnt subject to a sync, the problem was cleared. Not sure if this applies to your sitch, JM2C. If you have no messages in your inbox (as well as in subfolders), then it obviously isnt a mail message causing the problem. If all else fails, go through the steps to delete your profile from the PC and re-sync. that could clear up whatever is the problem. but back up your data before doing so, just in case.
I have had the same issue come up multiple times with mail or calendar/Task items. the way I have been able to resolve this is forcing a full synchronization.
I know this thread is from almost a year ago but does anyone know anything about the easy synch tool that was mentioned? I have unresolved items even thought I've cleared out my inbox, sent, deleted, and junk folders. This has only been occurring in the last few days but it is extremely frustrating. I guess I'm on the anti-ActiveSynch bandwagon now.
