Optionbal Sync Software?
Just got my X50v, have loaded the ActiveSync s/w but can not
get the laptop to detect the X50. I have tried updating to the latest version 3.7 was sent downloaded 3.8. I have tried not going through the USB hub, no help. Went through the MS trouble shooting but can not get to the point where you turn off and turn on the allow USB connection, click on this and it just pops up the get connected wizard? Tried rebooting and soft reset, disabled firewall and antivirus. Is there any optional sync software available, This unit is useless unless I can install my S/W for work and so far no luck? I am not sure if this is the problem or not. Did you connect your Axim via cradle to the USB on your computer before you installed Activesync? The owners manual says to install activesync first, then hook up your Axim.

Are you able to connect the device to another machine. Just in case the issue may be a defect. I'd suggest contacting Dell about your warranty if you haven't already. Perhaps it is the device and they can send a replacement. Just a thought before going after more sync software.
