"One item not synchronized"
Hello,
First post here - thanks for the interesting info. I have a new Dell Axim 50v - and have one annoyance that I can't seem to resolve or find specific help. When syncing to my system I always have one item that does not sync - I know it's a file becuase that's where the error message line is, and if I remove file syncing it goes away. At first I had not added any files to keep in sync, started getting the message, added some files and they all do sync, but still get the message. The only clue I have is that I know there was a file (somewhere!) called sysinfo, and it is gone. I'm pretty sure this problem began when that file was somehow lost (I did have to re-set my partnership with my system as I had a system issue that requred a complete re-set of the OS). Any clue how to get rid of this annoyance would be great - thanks. Bruce

The "sysinfo" file is generated when you run the SysInfo application from the Settings screen on the x50. Go to the settings screen and try to run SysInfo and see if that fixes the problem.

I had a file that wouldn't sync and it drove me crazy trying to figure it out because there were 477 items being sync. Turned out it was a Word document that was being converted to a Pocket Word Document and the font was not on the Axim. I copied the font and it worked fine. I've since ditched PocketWord becuase it stinks.

Sysinfo is now there, but is wasn't the problem...
I ran sysinfo as you suggested, and the sysinfo file now does exist on both the Amim and the folder on my PC (thanks!). But..the issue with one file still not syncing is still there.
Any way to find out just what it thinks it's trying to sync and cant'? Thanks again, Bruce

Does anyone have any insight into this? I too have the same problem. Weird thing is, I sync with 2 different PCs, and my PC at work syncs fine, but my PC at home syncs with this sysinfo as something that can't be resolved.

I just had this problem and it drove me nuts.
The fix that worked for me was to create a temp folder, move all the files to that folder, sync, move all files back to the original folder, sync. Amazingly enough the problem went away. Hope it helps.
