I've got the following questions:

1. I sometimes DISCONNECT the cradle to bring it over to my GF's place so that I can try apps etc. However, everytime I remove the cradle from the USB and then RE-CONNECT it and put my X50v on top of it, ACTIVE SYNC asks me to setup a NEW partnership, and won't let me use the same name as before. Is this normal? Or is something wrong?
2. Obviously I've now ended up with 5-6 different partnerships and can't figure out how to delete them... HOW DO I DELETE A PARTNERSHIP?
3. With the new ACTIVE SYNC, everytime I put the Axim on the cradle, my computer asks me for the password, and I have to enter it EVERYTIME although I click the SAVE PASSWORD OPTION!!

The first two problems are very frustrating!!!
Sorry if I asked too many questions!!!!!!!

As for deleting partnerships: while your Axim is NOT connected, open ASync and choose the partnership you want to delete (File > Mobile device); then File > Delete association. I have the Dutch version of ASync so maybe some names are different.

Sometimes reinstalling AS might help. Are you using version 3.8?

I do the same between work and home and do not have any problem with partnership. Would it be possible that the name used is too complex to be reuse. Mine is x30 no caps no funny characters. Start fresh as Gigi suggested. Reinstall AS and also soft resetthe unit. Another thought when you remove the cradle does your PC report an error stating that an USB device was improperly removed?
