Problem - " your device was not detected"
Hi, i am a proud owner of x50v. But now i faced a strange problem with activesync/cradle.
Back to week ago, i was able to sync with pc smoothly but after that at one day i suddenly found that i cant sync anymore. While i alredi tried to hard reset the ppc and format my pc again i still stuck at the connection wizard dialog box which was unable to find the device(x50v in this case). i tried different usb ports and even on another laptop but still the same. based on wat i have done, i think that the cradle is malfunction now. anymore got such problem? | |||

i cant even access connection settiong through file menu becoz after install activesync, the get connected wizard prompt out immediately. if i cancelled the dialog box and back to activesync program main window, click on connection setting or get connected will back to wizard again. In such situation how to config to sync through BT?

The first step is a true Microsoft solution. Uninstall Active Sync, download the program from the Microsoft site (to make sure nothing is corrupted in the installer), reinstall the new download and set up Active Sync again. A registry entry may have gotten corrupted.
