i can access my PC from filemanager on my PPC, but when i try to setup wireless sync, i can't find any PC name from "Tools-->Options->PC" (it's empty there)

what's possible reason?

Have you already established a partnership using the cradle, sync cable, BT or IR? You must do so before syncing with wifi.

Have you sync'd with the USB port? You have to do one USB sync to set up the partnership before the WiFi sync will work.
