Question Trouble with Sync

Hi, I am still looking for an answer. My X50v will not sync with the desktop unless it is connected to the internet. I know this is not suppose to happen. It should sync when connected to the desktop whether it is connected to the internet or not. Does anyone out there have a ny idea what would be causing this problem? Thanks for the help.

That is weird, do you have the latest version of Activesync? You might try reinstalling it if you haven't already.
I love Aximsite

Yes I do. This problem was also present on Active Sync 3.71. It is a frustrating problem that I cannot seem to solve. Hopefully someone will be able to help me fix it.

After spending 2 days trying to figure this "revolting situation" out, I finally solved the problem. And the Answer is:
It all had to do with the McAfee Firewall. Although it was set to "Allow Full Access" under Internet Applications it was not doing it. I disabled the firewall, reassigned it Full Access, enabled Firewall and it is working properly now. There must have been one of those little demons running around inside the Desktop somewhere and he just needed to be dislodged.
I thouhgt I would post the solution so if someone else has this problem they won't have as much trouble as I did in finding a solution.
