Can't clear "activeSynk: 1 unread message

X5 ActiveSynk 3.8. I've search all the mail directories on the PPC and cannot find an unread message. Reset no help. This has been a continuous problem now for several months.

Look in your sync folder for a file named "messenger" ... I use Agile Messenger, and I thought this file was an offline message from AOL (dunno if it is even possible to get one - not an aol fan, am I) ... I deleted it, and the 1 unread message prompt went away.

Forget my "messenger.vol" advice -- I dunno what it is ... and evidently the clearup of the "unread message" thing was a coincidence.

We are exploring a similar problem hwere I get the same message but with 22 emails and AS keeps trying to resolve the issue no stop. Maybe by pooling our resources we can help eachother.

Mine still does not clear the unread messages. Nothing seems to clear it up.
