The best way would be to do it by elimination. Just take chunks of files from being synced and then when the error stops you know that it was in the group of files you just moved. You can then add them back till you discover which one.

If you still can't find out which item isn't working, you can do the following (although you risk losing changes that you might possibly want). In Activesync, click Tools -> Options -> Rules. In the first drop down listing by the "if there is a conflict" area, change the rule to either have the the PC or the Axim replace the item in conflict. Then resynch. After the conflict resolves, change the rule back to the way it was (or every time their's a conflict, the setting you left will automatically cause one of the devices to always "win" the conflict).

I am suddenly having this same issue. I have an 'unresolved' file. I have gone through and deleted 'My Documents' on both my Axim and my desktop, removed folder by folder, and still can't get it resolved. Even with just the empty folder it says one item unresolved. What gives? I think it is an ActiveSync problem....
