Not syncing e-mail with attachments!
I'm a veteran Palm OS user who has just moved over to the "dark side"
by buying an X50v and I need some help with ActiveCrap(tm).I'm using an X50v with the A02 ROM update and when syncing my Outlook 2003 Inbox via ActiveSync (v3.8), it simply refuses to transfer messages that have attachments and shows them as 'Unresolved items'. It doesn't matter what type of attachment it is or how large/small the file is. If I'm watching the device Inbox as it's syncing, I can see the e-mails with attachments appearing but they vanish after a fraction of a second. The only apps. I've so far installed (just in case it's some kind of software conflict) are Resco File Explorer 2003, Resco Photo Viewer v5.11, SPB Pocket v2.5, WorldMate Pro and Sprite Backup v2.1.4. On searching the web, I've found many other people who seem to be experiencing the same problem (not necessarily with an Axim) but no fix. To me, there's no point in syncing my e-mail unless it includes messages with attachments.....it's driving me insane. Any help would be much appreciated.

Success!
I hard reset the Axim and completely removed/re-installed ActiveSync v3.8. My Inbox is now syncing with attachments! I haven't installed any of the apps. that I originally had running yet, but I'll install them one at a time, so I'll hopefully know if this problem was being caused by something I had installed. I'll post again if I can narrow it down to something specific.

I'd suggest trying to sync. immediately after a hard reset and before (re-)installing any apps. or restoring any backups...sorry I can't be of more help.
