Hmm AS "not compatible with mobile version" message ALL THE TIME!

I previously ran AS 3.7 and switched over to 3.8 not long ago. No problem, then one day it acted up. I soft reset and 1 out of 10 times it may work. Other times it says;

Unable to connect with mobile device. Its not compatible with the version of Microsoft Active Sync currently installed on this desktop computer.

Its not just THIS computer. Ive tried it on 2 other laptops and my home PC with all the same results. its not the cradel either, because if i try to IR Sync it will work for about 10 seconds then pop that message up.

HELP! This thing has been useless for 3 months now :realmad:

Hmm unfortunately no one has another one.

Gotta nother question. How about the original CD that came with the X3i? I dont have it anymore so when I install the drivers I let the computer find it for itself. Im pretty sure its the lack of correct drivers that are doing this.

You are not the only one having this problem with AS 3.8 and X3i, as indicated in this thread. If you had no problems with AS 3.7 AND all the computers you are trying to sync with are running 3.8, I would suggest uninstalling AS 3.8 and re-installing 3.7.1
You can download 3.7.1 here.

Same issue exists with 3.7.1. HOnestly I think I have a chance if someone could hook me up with the installation CD files.
