Activesync problems
Ever since I upgraded to Activesync 3.8, I am able to sync with my laptop but the connection is shut off immediately after the sync is complete. I can not browse the handheld or install new programs. Is this a problem with Activesync 3.8 or something else? As I said, everything was working fine with Activesync 3.5

Open up ActiveSync on your laptop, and click on Tools - Options. Then find the Schedule tab. Where it says Desktop schedule, make sure the drop down menu says "When connected to my PC, sync Continuously."
