I have a major problem, the pins in my sync cable have been damage beyond belief. I can still chage the unit tho, and had used bluetooth to sync before now. Recently though, I had to rebuild my system, therefore had to reinstall ActiveSync. Here lies my problem, I can no longer initiate the first ActiveSync with my cable to gain access to the setup to configure the program for bluetooth. Does anyone know of a hack/registry edit that I may use to do this? Any help would be appreciated - Marc

There is no registry hack to bypass the "first sync" problem, however your first sync can be done with BT or IrDA. It does not HAVE to be done with a cradle/cable.
