Birthday & Anniversary Sync with Outlook 2003

I've put a number of Birthdays and Anniversaries in my Axim 50 as "all day events". However, when I sync with Outlook 2003, it reads them as from 12am to 12am, which spans the date across two days instead of just one. Also, if I reverse the procedure, (put the Birhdays in Outlook and sync to Axim) I don't get the "reminder" square in the calendar on the Axim 50.

Am I messing up the entry or is there a setting that I have not figured out yet?

Thanks!

Are you setting these up as recurring events? Choose the start date (in my case 1963 as my start date, the year I was born) and set to repeat every year as an all day event.

I don't have any problems with birthdays/anniversaries with Outlook 2003, but I didn't enter them directly into the calendar or on the Axim - I added them to my contacts and let Outlook automatically add them to the calendar. They all show up fine on the Axim and reminders work also.
