Activesync Connecting Problems

Please help. I just got the axim today. I followed the steps to load the software, but activesync never connects. How long is it suppose to take? driving me crazy. Any help would be great.

Did you make sure you installed the software BEFORE placing it in the cradle? If not, try uninstalling and reinstalling, then try to connect again.

Yes i followed the instructions and reinstalled twice. I got it to work on my work computer. Does it have somthing to do with the windows firewall? how can i fix this problem?

You may have trouble as I did by leaving the Axim in the cradle when rebooting your computer. Remove the Axim from the cradle and then reboot the computer. Mine synchronized perfectly after I did this.
