Add/remove dialogue box keeps opening!!!!
For some reason, lately, the add/remove dialogue box opens whenever I run ActiveSync. Previously, it only opened when I was installing software, now everytime I sync! It's a pain.
Any ideas why this is happening and how to correct it? ![]() | |||||

It happens because you started installing something but didn't finish the installation. Have you tried just clicking No/Cancel, etc.? (can't check this myself as I'm on mobile)

Have you installed software using another pc (other than the one you typically use to sync)?
I had the same thing happen (if I'm remembering correctly). I installed software from another pc (at home) and my pc (work), from which I usually sync, got confused. I uninstalled the software and installed from my work pc and all was fine. | |||||||||

The problem is solved. I installed a new program and that seemed to have cleared whatever was trying to install. I think you're right Gigi, I aborted an install and ActiveSync was still trying to connect.
