Alternative to ActiveSync/XTND Connect

Does anyone have any potential AS workarounds? ActiveSync works on my home computer, but not on my work computer. Is it possible to cut and paste my contacts/calendar files from one computer to another (as a way to get my home computer's contacts to my work computer; if so, how?)?

Are there alternatives to AS software that may be more successful? For example, I have heard of the XTND CONNECT software... is this an alternative to AS or does it require AS to be running in the background? Or if AS isn't working will XTND connect also not work?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I use both. They work independently from each other. I sue Active Sync for my Dell and XTND connect for my mobile.

As AS 'talks' to my Dell via the cradle/USB and I use XTND connect via infrared, I have had both running without conflict.

I don't know what the full version of connect is like, as I'm only using the cut down version that came with my phone.
