Active Sync issue...?

Hmmm... for some reason each and every time i connect my X50v to my PC, i get the following error...

I think this is possibly due to recently connecting my computer to a domain on my company's VPN, but i am only using my axim and active sync when using my machine as a stand alone PC, ie not connected to the VPN.

I'm getting it each time! It syncs up, then after a remove and re-connect... the SAME message appears!

well, i've tried both options... one to combine both device and pc, other to replace on device... and stilll each time i get the same message.
Tried soft reset, still the same, so think maybe a hard reset is in order

you might try changing the pda name, and get rid of the basic pocket_pc name. try one without any character like _ or any other symbol. just a single word. some people have fount that those characters cause problems. if you have already done this and it still doesn't work, then make a backup with the included program on the pda and try a hard reset. hard resets are not that bad if you have reasonable b/u's
