Outlook 2003 and ActiveSync 3.8
I'm using office professional with outlook 2003 and have been unable to activesync with my X50. I can sync anything (files, AvantGo etc.) but no luck with Outlook. I'm using Norton Internet Security. When I remove NIS, I still have the problem.
Should I be getting the warning that I got from an earlier Outlook that said, a program is trying to access Outlook, allow access? Anybody have any ideas? Harlod | |||

When you are looking at active sync and click on options does it show that calender, tasks, contacts, etc is checked?

yes, they are checked to be sync'd. I can sync files and can explore the mobile device, but I cannot get any information out of Outlook - BTW, I have never had a problem with MS2002 on another machine, just on this new Dell Precision - I've tried every possible combo of mapi32.dll, mapistub.dll, and yet still no success. I have tried re-installing outlook, activesync and no success. I have tried de-installing Norton Internet Security and still no help - I'm kind of at wits end with this problem.
