ActiveSync Why has it taken so long for this category?

ActiveSynch 3.8 and Virtual Memory

Hi all,

Lately i have been having some Virtual memory errors pop up on my computer, basically saying that windows needs to increase it. I believe it is because of Activesync 3.8. On occasions i leave my pda on in the cradle, not on purpose though, and the next day i usually have this message pop up. I look at the windows task manager and notice that WCESmrg.exe which i believe is part of activesync has used 756,000 k of virtual memory. When first started it only uses about 15,000k. Does anyone know how i can solve this? Would a re-install fix this or just shutting off the pda after i synch it be the simplest idea?

I did an Internet search and read about your problem. I found nothing similar to your problem. Remove ActiveSync and reinstall, you might fix the problem this way and it will be easier and faster. Let us know if the problem is solve>

Thanks. I did a re-install and it seems to be working correctly now. Thanks for the help.
