I have 3.8 on my work computer, win 2000. When I hook up the handheld it does not sync. When I click the Activesync icon it won't open. It is like it is there, but can't be accessed. What do I do now?

I use 3.8 on my Win2k machine and it's very stable.

Does AS not open at all? Or does it just not recognize the PDA?

Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.

   

Have you ever been able to sync with it? Did you install AS first, then hook your Axim into the computer? If you did it the other way around, that may be your problem.

Thanks for the replies. Yes I have sync'd before. The AS does not open at all.

If I reinstall 3.8 will I have to set up a new folder (name) or can I someway use an existing one.
