ActiveSync problem
Please Help ME! I am fairly new to Axim. I own the x5 version.
I am having a problem getting the "ActiveSync" to sync. Somehow I managed to change the name of my hand held and now my home computer no longer sees it. How do I get back to the default setting? I had several conflicts with some new software. They are all straighted out. The ActiveSync screen will not even open on my home unit. ![]() | |||||

If you can't select the partnership from AS (File, Mobile Device), check to see if the information below helps.
If the pc doesn't recognize the ppc then it should ask you if you want to set up a partnership or connect as a guest. If it's not doing that, check the regional settings on your Axim: (Start, Settings, System and then Regional Settings) they should be the same as your orignal settings when you established the first partnership. Thank You! I Can Not Select A Partnership From The AS File.
Everything Looks Good In The Reginal Settings. I'll Need To Check The Desktop Unit The Problem May Be There. Again Thanks For Your Help. Dschebig I checked out the desktop and everything is fine. It sees the USB connection as well as the cradle, I tried them seperately. It does not see the device. I dropped all partnerships. I have reloaded AS 3.8 (twice). Do you have any other ideas, it has me totally stumped. ![]() | |||||
