Can I roll back from the last sync?

Hi

My HD just crashed, leaving me helpless...

Lucky me, I had all my e-mails and contacts on my Axim...

After buying a new HD and installing all the neccecery software I tried to sync my Axim with my PC... and all my e-mail are gone!!! from both of them!!

It synced my contacts and copied them to the PC, but all my e-mails are gone.

I have a lead for what happened... when I installed Outlook, I forgot to enter the password for my mail account, and I dont remmember the password(who does? used it only once)...

Now, how can roll back the sync and retrieve all the lost data??

If it wasn't a catastrophic crash (ie; the head came loose and gouged the disk), there are Data Recovery Companies, but they are far from cheap.

There is also this: FILERECOVERY® for Windows®. You can DL a Demo that will show you if there are recoverable Files on the disk, but you must Purchase the full version to actually recover them. $59.95 or $99.95 for a PRO Version.

Brings 2 old sayings to mind:

1) (Sorry, but)........SOL.

B) Live and Learn. (Backup, backup, backup!......to multiple locations).
