Question Calendar Activesync settings question

I have a series of personal events that I categorize as "personal" (oddly enough) in my PDA calendar.

When I sync my X50v, I do not want these events showing up in my Outlook calendar on my PC. Therefore, I go into Activesync Options, then look at the settings for the Calendar application. It very conveniently gives me the option to sync only appointments with specific categories. Great. Just what I'm looking for. I check everything but "Personal" and sync.

All of my Personal appointments promptly get removed from my PDA, but remain in Outlook. Exactly the opposite of what I need.

Is there a way to reverse this rather obnoxious behavior?

From memory (I'm mobile so can't check) it's under the rules tab on AS. Make sure that the Axim takes precedence over the pc

I don't think that will do it, though admittedly I haven't tried. That setting just seems to be for resolving items that are in conflict, and whether the device or the PC wins. In this case, there is no conflict. I just don't want calendar items with a Personal category to be synced at all.

Not sure if I understand, but if I am getting this right, you want to leave all your personal appointments to your PPC, and remove them from Outlook.
I am not sure you can do that, however; you can create a filter in Outlook that will hide your private calander entries and that should get you what you want.
