well i have no idea whats wrong, activesync 3.8 is installed just fine all my cables are nice and all my usb ports work yet when i get to: turn pda on insert to cradle - it dosnt detect something. IR is not installed as it says9no problem here) but it says com 4 is avaliable and usb is as well yet no syncing. its a recent problem and i get a pop up saying a usb device malfunctioned. ive uninstalled sync a few times yet at the last step it never connects

Axim x30 High ~ durable enough to survive a car wreck but the sync pins got messed up
Axim x51v ~ the new replacement so i can sync with my pc once more
