Sync Speed BT vs. USB

Anybody have a rough idea of how much slower BT is vs. USB sync? I am transferring video to my SD card but it is going very slooooow on BT. I am wondering if I should just wait until I get home tonight and use my cradle.

If you're transferring a video, a card reader is the way to go. The next fastest would probably be wifi. I believe BT is slower than USB sync.

BT is slower than wifi? I would have thought them about equal.

I wasn't thinking about the card reader. I have one built into my laptop (one of the reasons I chose SD instead of CF )

I am surprised you didn't mention cradle/usb. Is that really slower than BT or wifi (ie 11mb)?

BT is definitely slower than Wifi. In my experience, BT is slower than USB cradle but that is just my subjective guess.

I sometimes use BT at work if I've left my cradle at home... I haven't timed it or anything but it is 'about' the same sort of time for a sync. If it was a lot slower I suppose I would have noticed.

I'll take your word for it, though the analytical part in me says I need to do some research on the rated speeds of each so I can commit this to memory. It runs counter-intuitive to what I had expected.

That can wait til another day though. You gave me the answer I needed to save me time today.

Thanks. :)

I am fairly sure BT is faster than USB, although it has been a long time since I could USB sync.

I'm sure the USB is quicker... But for me BT doesn't seem to be a lot slower,
But then again thats just for a sync. I don't use Activesync for copying large files at all. That's what my card reader is for

Any body know if WiFi syncing is faster that USB? My guess is that they are about the same becaus the main limiting factor all arround seems to by system bus speed. But is either that much faster?
