It was necessary for me to do a hard reset on my Axim X5 the other day. I synced with my desktop as well as data backup to SD. Everything restored fine after the reset with the exception of my Inbox. My desktop only has e-mails from the past two days but my Axim has all of them there. When I sync it does not sync them from Axim to desktop. I am sure it is something simple but I have not been able to find a post about it here but that's not to say there isn't one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to lose these.

Leave the item unresolved; if there is a conflict between what you have on your pc, and axim then it does nothing. Always replace item on this computer; what ever you have on your axim, it replaces on your pc. (might be bad if you change a calander entry on your pc but don't change it on your axim, when you sync it will be gone) Always replace the item on this device; what ever you have on your pc, your axim gets a copy of. In this case, I would update the item on your pc, that will get your e-mails back, and then you have to decide, do you want your axim to have a copy of what you have on your pc, or do you want your pc to have a copy of what is on your axim? You can leave it to leave the item unresolved, but unfortuntley it won't tell you what the item is, so you will have to hunt to figure it out.

OK, it must be something else. I changed the setting to put my Axim info on my desktop and manually synced just my Inbox. It still has not moved the e-mails from my Axim to my desktop. But new e-mails on my desktop are going onto my Axim. I am stumped!!

OK, on your e-mail settings did you select the folder where you may have the e-mails stored? or are they all in your inbox?

If you do, don't forget to do a backup first, and save time later.
I am not sure if that will help, but it is worth a try, I am out of suggestions..if everything is set correctly, then it should be moving e-mails from your Axim to your PC. Good Luck,
