can't sync with outlook via wireless sync

i've been having trouble with my cradle which seems to have a wiring problem and will not longer sync, so I went with a wireless sync which connects fine but will not let me sync my calender, contacts, or tasks. I can sync with Quicken, Maltin movie guide, etc. and can also install programs. However, I just get an error message when syncing the basic stuff. I can't figure out what the heck is going on so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I get that error when I do a restore. the only way i have found to clear it is to do a wired sync first then wifi works again. I think I read somewhere here that someone knows how to get around this. I would look at Ikehikers guide http://wifi.aximsite.com/wifi_net.html for more help
