Changed Windows XP Profile - Now Can't Sync

Hi,

I recently joined my PC to a new domain and moved my Windows XP profile location. Now my Axim X50 will show connected in ActiveSync, but it won't sync. I just get an error that says, "Syncronization cannot be completed, disconnect your device and try again" I'm assuming that it's because ActiveSync can't find the correct path or files to the last location it synced from, but I don't see a place to "point" it to the correct location, nor do I really know what files it's looking for to sync up correctly.

Any advice or help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Have you changed your local authetication (the PC login) to use domain-authentication? If so, be aware that you will be running under a new profile. You will likely need to reinstall ActiveSync to configure the new profile for it, and at the very least will need redo the partnership. Once the new partnership is in olace you canbreplace the contensts of its folder with the stuff from the one in the old profile.

Yes, I'm working from a new profile. I have copied all my Outlook data into the new profile, so my new profile looks and feels exactly like the old one, but activesync seems confused. I guess I'll just reinstall and let it sort it out on it's own. If I need to manually copy data, do you know where it's stored?

Thanks.
