I have an Axim x30. As far as I can recall, Activesync used to work fine. One day it spontaneously stopped working in just one part of it's responsibilities - specifically, "Notes". It refuses to upload notes from the PDA into outlook on the PC, and if I delete a note from within outlook, the deletion will not transfer back to the PDA- the note will remain, undeleted, in the PDA. As far as I can tell, I have the options in Activesync set correctly- that is, I have checked the "notes" item under sync options, and I have it set up to sync when a connection is made. In fact the sync operation DOES take place, and syncing works in the opposite direction. The activesync box comes up and it says the files are synced. It just ain't true.
Does anybody know what could be happening here? Have a fix?
If your suggestion is "do a hard reset", I'd also like to know how often you have to do that with the axims. This will be the second time for me in only 4 months. What a pain!
