ActiveSync "Not connected"
My Axim (X30)is in the cradle and the cradle is connected to my PC using a USB connection. However, ActiveSync (3.8.0) and my Axim have stopped talking to one another. ActiveSync displays my Axim's name and "Not connected."
I've had this problem in the past and reloaded ActiveSync on my PC, however that is getting old. Any suggestions. Thanks

Welcome to the site!
Check the settings on both your PPC and PC to make sure the boxes to allow a USB connection are checked.

JPMARTH,
Thanks for the response. Both the PC and PDA were setup to use the USB connection. However, I was able to fix the problem. The problem was with the PDA, but I'm not sure of exact problem. I upload ActiveSync to a second computer able then was able sync. Then brought the PDA back to my PC and it would not sync because the ActiveSync on the PC said I was trying to sync a device with a name that already existed, so I deleted the device name on my PC. Then setup the device on my PC and backed it up. It works fine now. But for how long?
