Can't Stop the Syncing
I'm having a problem with my X30 and it's driving me nuts. Can anyone help? I set ActiveSync on my PC for manual syncing and I think I set the controls on the Axim itself, but it still syncs automatically. It syncs when I plug the device in and, even worse, it syncs every five minutes when the PC is on. What's going on here? I don't need that and I don't want it. Has anyone else had this problem? How common is it? And what do I do to stop it?
Thanks in advance. | |||

You can change the settings so that it will only sync when you want it to. With your Axim connected, open up ActiveSync on your desktop. Click on Tools - Options - Schedule (tab) and make the necessary adjustments.

Did you ..
Open ActiveSync and go to TOOLS > OPTIONS select the Scedule Tab. For when syncing with the PC, do manual. And at the bottom unckec "Sync outgoing items as they are sent"

Thanks to you both. I had already set the Schedule tab, though. I checked and everything's set correctly.
My Axim is still connecting every five minutes. It seems like it wants to go online to check my e-mail. Does that help? What am I missing?

You will have to disable the feature to check for new email automatically.

Thank you, Gigi. That did the trick. I knew that it was set to look for mail automatically, but I didn't realize it would do so when connected to the cradle. I thought it would only look while there was a wireless Internet connection.
