After trying to load ActiveSync on a 3rd computer and learning that only 2 can be synced, I tried reloading ActiveSync on my office computer. It wouldn't install. After removing program on Control Panel I tried to install it from the Companion CD, but it won't install. It only shows a little setup file that doesn't respond.

I downloaded ActiveSync 8 again from the web and when it unpacks nothing activates. No installer runs, although it looks like files are being unpacked. Any ideas?? Help! Would this have anything to do with Windows Security?
