Keep contacts off PC?

Is there a way to keep contacts on the Axim only, not have them syncd to PC? If Activesync can't do it, will other PIM software on the Axim help, or Chapura Pocketmirro?

You will have to disable the syncing of contacts in active sync. activesync--->tools--->option--->sync options. Uncheck contacts.

thanks. Coming from the Palm side, this is a big negative on the Windows Mobile side. I could have both home and work on the Palm, which makes sense since it is mobile. I don't mind having work on home PC, but don't want home on the work PC. Piece of cake with Palm, apparently, I can't carry work contacts on my Axim if I want to keep Personal stuff off the work PC. Major flaw in my book.

That's just one of the complaints former PALM users have but have no fear there are 3rd-party software solutions. I can't name any freeware off the top of my head but the software you need is definitely out there.

I found the $70 third party solution, Intellisync. Near as I can tell that is the only solution. I can't believe in all the comparisons I read between Palm and PPC, this flaw was never mentioned.
