Sync via BT with WinXP SP2?

Has anyone successfully gotten their Axim to sync via bluetooth with WinXP SP2? The culprit her, BTW, is "SP2", as I've gotten BT syncing to work perfectly under SP1. Windows see the D-Link BT dongle OK, and assigns incoming and outgoing ports to my Axim, but I cannot get AS to see the connected Axim, and AS on the Axim also cannot find the PC. Verrrrrry frustating. Any suggestions (useful, that is)?

Next stop: call to D-Link.

Did you use the workaround for XP2 when installing the drivers?

Actually, I did find instructions very much like these on another site, and after following them, I still could not get AS to see my Axim. I gave up and ordered a sync cable. FWIW, under SP1, using ActiveSync with BT was much easier.
