Question Help! Activesync crashes with Logtitech Keyboard

I did some searching here on Aximsite as well as the net and didn't find anything that helped, so I thought I'd try posting. I can't believe I'm the only one with this problem!??

Recently, I installed a Logitech wireless keyboard and it's iTouch software (latest version via download). Since then, when I try to sync, my computer crashes to the blue screen and then reboots. Running XP Pro, SP2.

I tried uninstalling activesync and then reinstalling it (version 3.8) but this didn't help either.

Anybody out there have a workaround for this?

Thanks!

I ended up uninstalling the Logitech iTouch software, removing the Logitech keyboard and went back to my old Microsoft Keyboard. Once I did that, everything syncs again. Strange... Sure wish I could use my new keyboard though... :(

i'm using Logitech's wireless keyboard+mouse combo without any problem. Perhaps you install ActiveSync and try to reinstall it?

I already tried that. I'd like to hear from others that have had this problem. Can you post here if you've had a problem with Activesync and a Logitech wireless keyboard? Did you solve it? Did you get rid of the Logitech keyboard?

Same problem here...

We started out with a Logitech LX 710 keyboard and as soon as I installed the Logitech software... ActiveSync crashed everytime I tried to open it. So I uninstalled iTouch software and got it to work with a wired keyboard. I then went out & spent almost 100 bucks on a Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 6000... installed the Microsoft software thinking the same thing "lawman" commented on that Microsoft won't kill its own software, right?.... wrong. It work for about a month & then some update happened recently & now I'm back where I started from... ActiveSync tries to open, but then closes itself within a few seconds.

I'm about to go back to the wired keyboard & mouse. If anyone has an answer to this please post.

Thank you.
