ActiveSync Why has it taken so long for this category?

Add/Remove programs window never shows up!
Hello Everyone

I have a major problem here. I downloaded and installed XnView on my PC but the usual Add/Remove program window (which is a part of ActiveSync) did not open after the installation as usual. It tried to open but it shut closed in a few seconds. Something is preventing the window to stay open even when I manually try to open the window.

I cannot install any programs anymore. Any advice on how to correct this problem is greatly appreciated!

Axim x50 624 + 512 SDCard
Upgraded to latest WM2003 A05 (not Mobile 2005)
Only Resco explorer and SE_VGA are formally installed.
(I have other software left over from the last hard reset on the SC Card which work properly and I never reinstalled them)

Do you have an overly active popup stopper? If so, try disabling that.

Very smart, it was not my googlebar popup blocker, but actually it was ZONEALARM!! I shut it down and it is working now. Thanks for the hint!!

You should be able to configure ZA so that ActiveSync doesn't have any problems. Is it in your Programs list?
